Bidnamic, a Leeds-based Google Shopping ecommerce marketing platform, has launched a US office.
The company’s Austin office will be the new base for its American operations to service and support its customer base in the country. There are also plans for a raft of new hires and to expand the R&D for its AI-powered cloud platform.
The expansion follows a $5m investment by Gresham House Ventures in June 2022 and the recent appointment of Chris Underhill as chairman.
Bidnamic has recruited 12 staff for the US base, adding to its 100-plus global workforce.
Heads of sales Adam Ellmore and Tom Stephenson – who have worked with Bidnamic since it was founded in 2018 – will lead the US-operation.
Chief executive and co-founder Liam Patterson said: “We’re absolutely delighted to announce our new Austin office in one of the fastest growing Tech Hubs in the USA, giving us the foundations to develop our relationships with US clients like Volcom and fashion marketplace Garmentory, as well as introducing our platform to other successful brands and retailers.
“With the huge influx of retailers and brands adopting ecommerce, Google Shopping has become more competitive, so companies are looking for cost-effective ways to optimise their offering. We’re confident our platform and team will help them deliver.”
Bidnamic LLC will be incorporated from August 2022 and will be based at the Capital Factory, a collaborative hub and community for leading tech start-ups in Austin.
